Joanne Waugh is a born and raised Newfoundlander. She is also one of the many Newfoundlanders who left for greener pastures only to realize that home was the greenest pasture of all. Upon returning home, Joanne successfully wrote and passed the Real Estate exam and immediately joined Team Burton.

Prior to joining Team Burton, Joanne gained extensive knowledge through working for 15 years in the customer service industry. This knowledge, combined with her outgoing and friendly personality, made the transition into Real Estate natural and easy for her.

Most recently Joanne has obtained the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Joanne also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. 

When not in the office, Joanne can be found practicing yoga, working out at her local gym, or spending time with her growing family.
