Judy began her successful real estate career in 1985. During her career she served 6 years on the NL Real Estate Board, 2 years on the Newfoundland Homes Builders Association, and has a number of designations including the RE/MAX Relocation Specialist, “SRES” Seniors Real Estate Specialist, RE/MAX Succeed Program and the RE/MAX 100% Club. Judy is currently working on completing her FRI designation.
Judy and husband of 35 years Mike, both of Corner Brook, moved to Mount Pearl in 1981. They have two grown children, Matthew and David.
A Past President of the Provincial Golf Association (NLGA) and CLGA-NL, Judy’s term in office include leading the amalgamation of the NLGA and CLGA, and development of an effective Future Links and Girls Club programs for youth across Newfoundland and Labrador. Judy served a total of 11 years in various leadership capacities with provincial and local golf boards.
Judy has volunteered much of her time supporting children and families through her fundraising and organizational efforts. Projects include organizing a 10 year annual golf fundraiser with the YMCA-YWCA for families in need, raising money for various minor hockey and minor soccer programs, supporting Iris Kirby House and Habitat for Humanity, and participating in many school projects. Judy was awarded the Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 in recognition of her outstanding volunteer dedication to children and families.
Judy prides herself on commitment and service to her clients, a testament to which is her referrals and returning clients. She attributes much of her success to her natural love of people, her ability to work well with everybody, her desire to get things done, and eagerness to help those around her.
